Egyptian Gold With Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift: Fall 2013

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift had glowing skin at the MTV Awards thanks to the upcoming Fall 2013 trend. The golden style looks borrowed from an Egyptian royalty mind. Accent your look with a shimmering detail like golden sunglasses or metallic shoes if you don't want to shine all over. Here are some gold fashions seen on Style.com.

Target and Lauren Bush Lauren: Feed Project Coming June 2013

I am in love with products that give back to important causes. TOMS gives back by donating a pair of shoes to children when you buy a pair. Not only are the shoes comfy and cute but they help others. Feed Project, created by Lauren Bush Lauren, donates meals to people in need when you purchase their products. Buying a certain bag on her website can provide food for a child for one year. Being a public school teacher, I know there are many children that sometimes don't know when their next meal will be. Lauren Bush Lauren recognized this during her travels abroad and throughout America. Partnering with Target will grow her project and help feed more people and most importantly, children. She recognizes children in America need help so stop by a Target store this June and help her cause.

Zachary Quinto, Alanis Morissette for Kiehl's: Earth Day

Help the world this earth day. Purchase Kiel's Ultra Face Cream and contribute to the $50,000 they will donate to Recycle Across America. Recycle the container when you run out or use it to store jewelry and more because Zachary Quinto and Alanis Morissette have designed them. One is geometrically bold and the other is organically soft. Buy one or both!

Time Magazine: Congrats to Jennifer Lawerence

A very successful Louisville native: Jennifer Lawrence. Congrats to her on her many accomplishments! This time she has been named one of Time Magazine's most influential people. This photo definitely captures an essence of her unique beauty.

Carolyn Braden: The Glitter Fade, #nailart

I saw the glitter fade trend in Lucky Magazine and tried it in my own way. I used gel polishes. It's a fun look!

Jessica Alba: #ombre hair dream

Alba was my recent inspiration for hair. I love how her ombré hair blends so well. My stylist figured out a great technique to duplicate the look. He did it tonight and it looks beautiful. He teased my hair in layers, painted on the bleach and sealed each foil loosely. I wanted to steer clear of having a blunt edge where the colors meet and he met that goal. I'll post a pic of my hair soon.
My stylist, Gregory Noel, is located in Louisville, Kentucky.

Update: Here are some photos of my new style. These were taken very early yesterday morning before I went to school. I'll post some more on a day when I have time to style my hair a little more.
